Can community energy storage and photovoltaic charging station clusters improve load management?
To address the growing load management challenges posed by the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, this paper proposes a novel energy collaboration framework integrating Community Energy Storage and Photovoltaic Charging Station clusters. The framework aims to balance grid loads, improve energy utilization, and enhance power system stability.
Do large-scale clusters of EVs support the construction of new power system?
In this study, we discuss the key technologies in relation to the use of large-scale clusters of EVs to support the construction of new power system from three aspects: resource characteristics, social factors (user decision-making behavior), and communication systems. The remainder of the paper is organised as follows.

First, the characteristics of clusters of EVs that participate in power system operations were analyzed in terms of their physical resources, aggregation and control structure, dispatching strategies, and market mechanisms.

The power supply and distribution system, charging system, monitoring system, energy storage system, and photovoltaic power generation system are the five essential components of the PV and storage integrated fast charging stations. The battery for energy storage, DC charging piles, and PV comprise its three main components.
What is EV cluster?
For EV cluster, the reference adopts the management mode of “decentralized access and centralized control” for EVs, equates EVs with distributed power sources, and evaluates the schedulable capacity of EVs based on constraints such as user travel demand and battery life.
Can distributed PV clusters and EV clusters operate cooperatively?
Distributed PV clusters and EV clusters can operate cooperatively through complementary utilization of power. It is expected that full local use of distributed PV energy can be achieved in an economical way. An evaluation of the reliability of EV reserve measure needs to be conducted.
