Does the 2024 4xe have a power box?
This video shows the Jeep Power Box that's included with the 2024 4xe models: Awesome that they are including this and not having it be an extra add on! This is cool. Wonder how the power box can be charged or dies it just feed off the Jeep batteries for that? Wonder if a solar panel can be installed to supplement. This is cool.

The Power Box is essentially a fancy power strip with 4 120V AC outlets and an SAE J1772 that plugs directly into the charge port. It can provide up to 3.6-kW of electrical power to run your glamping site or even provide backup power at home during an outage.
Why did you choose a 4xe instead of a 2.0L?
The Power Box is the primary reason that I ordered the 4xe instead of a 2.0L. Having access to 17KWh is crazy! Not only will it fully power my off-road trailer, but it’ll also power my fridge and freezer in the case of a power outage at home. To put this in perspective, I have solar and battery backup at my home and I have 15kWh of batteries.
Can a solar panel be installed to supplement a 4xe?
Wonder if a solar panel can be installed to supplement. It's literally just a cable to a box that draws power from the 4xe's battery and provides plugs for you to use. It has no battery in it. Yeah that’s what started realizing too. Great idea.
How many appliances can a JPB power box power?
Not sure how you would feed your entire home with the Jeep Power Box (JPB), but you could definitely power numerous 120v appliances (refrigerator, freezer, etc.) for days between the 17kWh battery and “generator mode.” good info, gotcha, I know what to do in the breaker box and of course turn off, not run the 220/240
