BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhua) -- The global wind and photovoltaic power generation capacities are projected to increase by over 10 percent and 30 percent, respectively, year on year in 2025, according to a report released on Monday. The findings revealed that PV panels covering 40% of the roof area of a canary-type greenhouse have no significant impact on climatic parameters. While, during the hot season, PV panels lowered the temperature within the greenhouse, bringing it closer to the ideal range for tomato development.
