Does BMS output match battery pack output?
However, when I measure the voltage across the BMS P- cable and the Battery Pack's positive terminal, I am only getting 47V even though the pack measures 58V. I read that the BMS output is supposed to match the pack output, but can't think of anything I did wrong. Do you think I received a defective BMS?
Why is my BMS displaying a low voltage warning?
I guess all comes down to a 'not perfect' integration between the Seplos BMS and Victron. The low capacity warning from the BMS seems to be incorrectly transmitted (or interpreted) as a 'Low voltage alert' by the GX device. My only guess was DC input low pre-alarm in inverter tab of VeConfigure in addition to the ones you already mentioned.
What is BMS low voltage?
Today, we will mainly explore BMS low voltage. Specifically, low-voltage BMS is designed to serve batteries with voltages of less than 60V and is typically found in lightweight electric vehicles, such as e-bikes, electric motorcycles, e-scooters, freight bikes, or small-scale renewable energy systems.
Why is my BMS not charging?
Even when fully charged, the BMS will leave the charger enabled. If the BMS is disabling loads much sooner than it used to do, even while the overall battery voltage still looks OK, this is an indication that the battery is imbalanced. When the charger is in the absorption stage, all cell voltages should be equal and between 3.50V and 3.60V.
Is DVCC enabled in low battery SoC?
In low battery SOC (~15%) I see tons of 'Low battery voltage' alerts at rather high voltages (51.25V). DVCC is enabled (with SVS). In the Seplos BMS I don't see any warnings. In the ESS assistant configuration I have configured the 'Cut off voltage' at 44.8V for all discharge currents. Restart offset is at 1.20V.
Can a BMS disable a battery?
The charger will never be disabled by the BMS if the battery is well-balanced. Even when fully charged, the BMS will leave the charger enabled. If the BMS is disabling loads much sooner than it used to do, even while the overall battery voltage still looks OK, this is an indication that the battery is imbalanced.

Low voltage cut-off: a false sense of security
Various battery loads handle low battery voltage differently: Some battery loads continue to draw current as long as there is some battery voltage (e.g.: a lamp) Some shut down when there''s not enough voltage for them to run (e.g.: a DC-DC converter), Some shut down at a programmable voltage (e.g.: better quality motor controllers),
